Pennsylvania's ‘Cool' Family Faces Charges in $100,000 Theft, Burglary Ring

State police said members of a central Pennsylvania family stole $100,000 worth of guns, TVs, dirt bikes and other items in a burglary and theft ring whose targets included homes, barns and sheds.

Brothers Joseph Cool Jr. and Andrew Cool were arrested Friday along with their mother, father, stepfather and a family friend. The five men are charged with burglary and other offenses. The mother, April Shultz, is charged with receiving stolen property.

Online court records didn't list information on their lawyers.

Troopers said the Cools and the gang stole from properties in York and Adams counties between April 2011 and September 2014. They say the family made off with $19,000 worth of goods from one home in Dillsburg.
