Convicted Sex Offender Admits to New Child Porn Charges

Federal prosecutors say a convicted sex offender pretended to be a juvenile online so he could obtain child pornography through social media and email chats with two young boys.

Robert Pelle faces 10 to 25 years in prison when he's sentenced May 6. He recently pleaded guilty to possessing child porn.

Prosecutors say the 50-year-old Bellmawr man was on parole for another child porn charge when he used a public library computer in July 2013 to access social media networks and sexually explicit websites. He was barred from doing that as part of his parole.

Pelle admitted that he communicated with the boys for several months in 2013 and got one of them to send nude images of himself. Pelle then sent one of those images to the other boy.
