Comcast Unveils TV Tech Catered to the Blind

Since Tom Wlodkowski joined Comcast as an executive two years ago, he's been making it his mission to "level the playing field" through technology for those with disabilities.

Wlodkowski, who's been blind his whole life, "selfishly" wanted to make Comcast's set-top boxes more accessible for himself — but also better for the media giant's customers.

Under Wlodkowski's lead, Comcast developed a new product that hopes to change the way its TV customers, especially those who are blind or visually impaired, navigate the X1 platform.
