Baby it’s cold outside and on Friday it was also snowing in parts of the area.
Moisture associated with a weak warm front was moving quickly across the region Friday afternoon. Although the low levels of the atmosphere have been very dry, there was just enough snow to fall into the dry air, eventually leading to some snow reaching the ground.
A dusting was reported in the Harrisburg and Lancaster areas, where temps were recently a bit colder.
The snow should move out within a few hours, with a dusting on grassy surfaces in some areas.
