Record Cold February in Pennsylvania's Capital

The bitter cold that gripped the state of Pennsylvania led to record cold in Pennsylvania’s capital.

The Northeast Regional Climate Center at Cornell University said Harrisburg recorded an average February temperature of 20.9 — the coldest on record for the month in Pennsylvania’s capital.

February 2015 was one for the record books around the Northeast.

The NRCC also reported that Buffalo, Syracuse, Binghamton and Ithaca, New York, shivered through their coldest months ever.
