A man was shot and killed in the Cobbs Creek section of the city Tuesday.
Andre Davis was getting out of a vehicle at Cobbs Creek Parkway and Catherine Street just before 4 p.m. when two men chased after him and opened fire. The 30-year-old man was struck three times, at least once in the head.
Medics pronounced him dead at the scene a short time later.
No arrests have been made. Police continued to investigate as a $20,000 reward was offered for information leading to a conviction in the case.
