Co-Owner of Ice Rink Accused of Sex Crime

The co-owner of a popular ice skating rink is arrested after two kids accuse him of touching them inappropriately.

Scott Bicking, 47, of Mantua, N.J., co-owns the Pond Ice Arena in Newark, Delaware.

Police say they began investigating Bicking a few days ago after a 14-year-old boy told them that Bicking had inappropriate contact with him inside an office at the arena.

Another boy, 13,  also reported to police that he was touched inappropriately. Both alleged incidents happened during the summer months, but were just recently brought to the attention of authorities.

Bicking is charged with two counts of unlawful sexual contact with a person under the age of 18.

He was released on $12,000 bail and ordered not to visit the Pond Ice Arena or have contact with anyone under the age of 18

Newark Police say they are planning a meeting with parents whose kids skate at the rink. They want anyone else who may have been a victim to give them a call.
