A New Hampshire wife and mother was charged late Wednesday in the crash that left her husband dead and their two daughters hurt after it was discovered that she was allegedly driving on a suspended license with drug paraphernalia in her vehicle.
The single-vehicle wreck happened along the Black Horse Pike near Route 9 around 1 p.m. Tuesday. Surveillance video shows a red minivan driving west on the Black Horse going off the road and into a pole on the front passenger side.
Allison Hawks Nasta, 28, of Manchester, N.H. lost control of the van, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday.
Her husband William Nasta, 34, was in the passenger seat and died in the wreck. Hawks Nasta and the couple's 5-year-old and 3-month-old daughters sustained non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

Originally there were reports that the crash was a hit-and-run. But Pleasantville Police later confirmed that it was only a single-vehicle wreck involving the minivan.
Late Wednesday prosecutors charged Hawks Nasta with various motor vehicle violations including hindering apprehension, obstruction, driving with a suspended license during a deadly crash and having drug paraphernalia in the van.

Hawks Nasta was processed and released on a court summons, prosecutors said.
