Interim CEO of PA Drum Corps Cleared of Role in Harassment Probe

The suspended interim CEO of a champion Pennsylvania-based drum and bugle corps will return to the organization after an investigation cleared him of claims he was told about the previous director's harassment and failed to act.

Sean King was tapped to lead the parent organization that runs the Cadets Youth Education in the Arts in April after George Hopkins stepped down. That came after 11 women accused Hopkins of sexual harassment or abuse.

But King was suspended after one of Hopkins' accusers said she told King about inappropriate behavior by Hopkins and he failed to act. King contended he was never told of claims of sexual abuse against Hopkins.

King will not return to his interim CEO post. He instead will work for the organization as a contractor.
