Authorities in central Pennsylvania say a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck has killed three people and injured two others.
State police said the accident happened on Route 340 in Salisbury Township shortly before 8:30 a.m. Friday. Trooper Ryan Lawrence told Lancaster Newspapers that the tractor-trailer was heading west when the pickup drove south onto the road and was struck.
The tractor-trailer then struck a house, causing a fire, but two people inside were unhurt.
Authorities said three of the four people in the pickup were killed and the fourth had injuries that weren't life-threatening, while the tractor-trailer driver had minor injuries.
