Cars Must Be Moved for Championship Parade

All cars remaining on the street at midnight will be towed

People who park on West Market Street and South Broad Street be warned: Move your car by midnight or you're going to be towed.

The streets will be shutdown at midnight Thursday to allow preparation for Friday's Championship Parade.

Any cars left on the parade route will be towed, as to NBC 10.

Phans will be able to express their Phillies phever along the parade route and down to the Stadium Complex.

Officials are urging phans to use public transit and not try to drive because of the road closures. PATCO and SEPTA will be offering expanded service to get fans around the parade route.

SEPTA is urging patience as they expect an overload of fans on the Broad Street Line. They will be running trains more frequently on all lines, including regional rail, to accommodate about 15,000 riders expected per hour.

For fans in New Jersey, PATCO will run trains every five or six minutes from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, according to their Web site.
