Philadelphia Police nabbed a 21-year-old carjacking suspect after they say he took a man’s car in North Philadelphia early Monday.
The suspect carjacked a 47-year-old man at 13th and Rockland streets in the city’s Logan section shortly after midnight, said Philadelphia Police Northwest Detectives.
The suspect quickly fled as police picked up the pursuit. After about one mile, the suspect crashed at 6th Street and Fisher Avenue in nearby Olney.
Officers took the suspect into custody while medics took the victim to Einstein Medical Center where he was treated and released, said police.
No word yet, what charges the suspect could face.
