A South Jersey teenager struck and killed a man crossing a busy roadway Saturday night.
According to Winslow Township Police, Nidira Moore, 18, was driving westbound on the White Horse Pike near Bennett Way just before 8 p.m. when her vehicle struck Salvador Guzman.
Investigators said that Guzman, 42, was walking along the westbound lanes of the Pike when he crossed the road -- going into Moore’s path.

Guzman, who hailed from Hammonton, was transported to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police closed the roadway for about two hours as they investigated.
As of Sunday morning no charges were filed and the investigation remained open, according to police.
