Car Plows Into Group, Injures Woman, Baby

A woman was struck by a car on a Camden street corner while trying to save a baby, witness says.

A woman and a baby are hospitalized after a car plowed into a small group of people in Camden, a witness tells NBC10's Katy Zachry.

According to that witness, two cars collided head on near the intersection of 8th and Morgan Streets around 8 a.m. Monday. One of the cars hopped a curb, hitting the woman when she jumped in front of a stroller to protect a baby, says the witness.

One of the drivers fled the scene following the accident, the witness tells Katy.
