Firefighters battled a house and a car fire in the West Oak Lane section of the city.
Police say a car caught on fire Tuesday afternoon.
The flames from the vehicle then spread to a home on the 6700 block of Syndenham Street.
No one was injured in the blaze though officials say several homes were damaged.
Firefighters were able to control the fire. They are currently investigating the cause.
Two families and 11 people were displaced by the fire. The displaced residents are currently being helped by the Red Cross.
