Two South Jersey men were arrested after one of them fired a shotgun at another car during a chase from Wildwood to Rio Grande, said authorities.
The Press of Atlantic City reported that 23-year-old Zachary Hand and 25-year-old Michael Harmer, both of Salem, face aggravated assault and weapons charges.
Middle Township Police Capt. John Edwards said the men got into an argument with someone at a McDonald's in Wildwood early Sunday. Edwards said one of the men displayed a shotgun and fired at least once at a victim as they drove away from the scene.
Edwards said the person was not hit by gunfire.
Hand and Harmer were at the Cape May Correctional Center and neither was available to comment. It wasn't immediately clear if they had attorneys.
