A man found shot on a Camden street died from his wounds, said authorities.
Camden County prosecutors said county police found 34-year-old city resident Jose Franco in the area of 28th Street and Pierce Avenue. They had gone there around 11:30 p.m. Sunday following reports of shots fired.
Franco was taken to a hospital, but was pronounced dead there early Monday.
Further details on the shooting have not been disclosed, including what type of weapon was used.
No arrests have been made. A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
