Camden Adds Its Own Pop-Up Park

After many successful temporary parks popped-up across the river in Philadelphia, Camden has decided to get in on the action.

Camden Mayor Dana Redd and other city officials officially showed off on Monday the Roosevelt Plaza park near City Hall at 5th and Market Streets.

Like many pop-up parks, Roosevelt features lounge furniture, public art and special landscaping.

The park was made possible through a grant from the William Penn Foundation and was designed by New Jersey firms, according to the Courier-Post.

It's expected to hang around until December.
