Police cited a Lehigh Valley school bus driver after she was caught on video texting while driving a bus full of students.
Fifty-four-year-old Anne McGouldrick was given a traffic citation for texting while driving a commercial vehicle on Thursday.
Bethlehem police said they were told by the Bethlehem Area School District about the Easton woman's texting. Investigators said a Liberty High School student on the bus used a cellphone to record her.
Officials said the woman was driving to the school on Linden Street in Bethlehem on Oct. 28 when she began texting on her cellphone.
"That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and our students’ safety is our top priority," said Bethlehem Area School District Superintendent Dr. Joseph Roy.
