Bucks County Couple Sue Navy for $1M Over Contaminated Property

Unregulated chemicals that have contaminated the water supply in suburban Bucks County has led to another lawsuit against the Navy – this time over a Horsham property the owners claim has been left "valueless" due to PFCs.

Located on the 400 block of Norristown Road in Horsham, the property's soil, as well as the home's drinking water which came from a private well, were contaminated by the Navy's unlawful disposal of hazardous waste, according to a Bucks County Courier Times report on the lawsuit.

The suburban newspaper says Frank and Lisa Penna's home is only a few hundred feet from former Naval Air Station-Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove and not far from a portion of the base known as Site 5, where it is believed hazardous chemicals leaked.
