Bristol Township Council President Bob Lewis Dies

A longtime leader in a Bucks Community died over the weekend.

Bristol Township Council President Bob Lewis died Sunday in his Croydon, Pennsylvania home. the cause of death wasn't disclosed.

β€œOur thoughts and prayers go out to Bob’s wife, Laura, daughter Susan, and his large extended family,” said Township Manager William McCauley III.

Lewis served a township commissioner in the 70s and 80s before becoming a council member in 2010. He took over as council president in 2012 as part of the β€œPro Team.”

Flags at all township facilities will be lowered to half-mast to honor Lewis.

β€œBob was a truly lucky man,” said Council Vice President Troy Brennan. β€œHe had a wonderful family, he lived to see his dream come true, and he went out on top.”
