Gas Station Employee Pistol-Whipped During Robbery in Bucks County

A gas station worker was hospitalized after he was pistol-whipped during a robbery in Bucks County Saturday morning.

The incident played out about 8:30 a.m. at the Pioneer Gas Station on New Falls Road at Route 413.

According to the Bristol Township Police Department, the suspect entered the store and pulled out a handgun. The suspect demanded money and during the robbery, police say he pistol-whipped an employee.

The suspect then ran out of the store. It was not immediately known if the suspect made off with any money.

The employee was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne for treatment of cuts to his head.

The suspect remains on the loose.

The incident remains under investigation.
