A man died from his injuries after he was shot while sitting inside his car in Bridgeton, New Jersey Friday evening.
Davonte Lee, 21, was sitting inside a vehicle at 25 Reeves Road in Bridgeton City around 6:15 p.m. Friday when an unidentified gunman opened fire. Lee, who was struck at least once in the shooting, was first taken to his sister’s home at Tips Trailer Park where New Jersey State Police and medical personnel responded. He was then taken to Inspira Hospital-Vineland where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and police have not released information on any suspects. They continue to investigate.
