New Jersey State Police have arrested two men on charges stemming from the deadly beating of a Bridgeton woman in Cumberland County.
Officials say 27-year-old Jose Martinez and 34-year-old Omar Galvez are charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated assault and weapons charges.
Detectives say 37-year-old Jennifer Cruz-Chavez was last seen getting into a van with the suspects after leaving a party in Bridgeton in August.
Her body was discovered by hunters in a wooded area in Fairfield Township on Aug. 24. An autopsy determined she died as a result of multiple blunt force trauma.
Martinez and Galvez are scheduled to make an initial court appearance on Monday.
It's not known if they have lawyers.
