Brazen Robbers Must be Caught: Cops

Police in Delaware County say they fear someone will get hurt or worse if two armed men on a robbery spree aren't caught.

Upper Darby Police say they must get two armed robbers off the streets before someone gets seriously hurt, and they need the public's help.

The robbers has struck at least five times in Upper Darby, mostly during the day, since May 12.

Investigators released surveillance video of the robbers in action at a 7-Eleven store on May 22. The robbers
held a gun to a customers head and demanded money. In most of the five cases, they got away with cash.

Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood told NBC10 he fears these robberies will take a violent turn.

"We've got to get these guys off the street before they hurt somebody, because somebody is going to resist and my fear is they're going to shoot them or hurt them seriously," said Chitwood.

Police are looking into whether two other recent robberies are connected to these suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the Upper Darby Police Department.
