Wilmington police say four boys have been arrested after attempting to rob a man on a bicycle.
Sgt. Andrea Janvier says a 51-year-old man reported being approached Tuesday on his bike by an 11-year-old, two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old near Christina Park.
Janvier says one of the boys asked the man about his bike while another removed a large rock from his pocket and raised it over his head toward the man.
The man pedaled away from the boys and reported the incident to a nearby officer in the area, according to police. The four boys fled but were later caught by police.
All four face charges of attempted robbery and conspiracy.
Bail was set at $5,000 for three of the suspects and $6,000 for one of the 14-year-olds.
