Boy, 8, Dies After Grandmother Finds Him Under Rolled-Over ATV on Private Pennsylvania Track

An 8-year-old died in an all-terrain vehicle accident on a private track behind his western Pennsylvania home, said police.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said Cody Trim was found underneath an overturned ATV behind his Penn Hills home around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Penn Hills Police Chief Howard Burton said the boy's grandmother went out to check on him when she stopped hearing sound coming from the ATV and called police when she found the boy under the four-wheeler.

He was taken to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
