“BottomsUp” Philly!

More efficient beer filling hits Wells Fargo Center

Get ready for  a perfect fill every time.

No more frothy foam excess from an unskilled stadium bartender, just your favorite brew flowing out of the world’s fastest beer dispenser. It’s a beer lover’s/sports fanatic’s dream come true.

The new filling technique was unveiled at Tuesday night's Flyers game at the Wells Fargo Center, the first Philly area stadium to try out the new device.

The "BottomsUp" beer system fills your brew from underneath the cup by using a magnet that covers a hole at the bottom, which is then lifted once being placed on the dispenser. That’s when the beer flows straight to the top.

But some who tried it gave "BottomsUp" a thumbs down. "I touched the bottom of the glass a little too hard and beer came out all over my shoe” said Eric Andrews of Wilmington, Delaware.

Check out the video below.  Maybe we’ll be seeing these around Citizens Bank Park coming opening day, so we don’t have to miss a whole inning for a warm tap beer.
