Authorities say a bookkeeper stole thousands of dollars from two southern New Jersey law firms where she was employed.
Moorestown Police tell the Courier-Post of Cherry Hill that 42-year-old Michele Wonderlin of Tabernacle faces charges for theft by deception, misappropriation of entrusted property and computer criminal activity.
Wonderlin is accused of taking more than $132,000 between from the Moorestown-based law firms between 2008 and 2013. She allegedly used the stolen funds to pay personal bills.
Bail was set at $40,000 for Wonderlin, and it was not known if she has retained an attorney.
