Boalsburg Museum Official Wants Sex, Porn Charges Separated

A central Pennsylvania museum official jailed on child-sex and pornography charges wants to be tried separately on each group of charges, saying they don't have anything to do with one another.

Sixty-six-year-old Christopher G. Lee heads the Boal Mansion Museum in Boalsburg, about 140 miles east of Pittsburgh.

The homestead commemorates the Boal family, which founded the town where the museum is located and the Farmers High School, which eventually became Penn State University.

He's been jailed since October on charges that he enticed a minor to cross state lines to have sex with him on the museum's premises where students from across the United States and other countries volunteer to work as guides and also possessed child pornography.

His attorney argues trying the cases together would prejudice him.
