Temple Making No Decision Yet on Bill Cosby's Honorary Degree Amid Sex Assault Charges

Aggravated indecent assault charges were brought against Bill Cosby Wednesday. But it will be at least several months before the Temple University's Board of Trustees will weigh whether the indicted comedian should keep his honorary degree.

Despite accusations of sexual assault from dozens of women against Cosby and a call from school faculty to pull his honorary degree, the school's board has yet to take action. [[25991739, C]]

The Temple degree is one of the few remaining honors Cosby still holds as schools in our area and across the country have revoked their honorary degrees in recent months as the allegations continued to mount.

Temple spokesman Ray Betzner told the Philadelphia Business Journal Thursday morning "the next meeting of the board is scheduled for March and that the agenda for that meeting has not been set." Read more on the degree decision at PBJ.com.
