Authorities say John Hann of Bushkill Township killed 64-year-old Joseph Mullner on Wednesday night and seriously wounded Mullner's wife, Melinda, at the couple's home north of Allentown.

District Attorney John Morganelli says the shooting appears to have stemmed from a "personal dispute" between the cousins.

Police located and surrounded Hann's truck Thursday morning, prompting a lockdown at three nearby schools. Hann, who was armed with several handguns, eventually surrendered.

Morganelli says Hann had his mentally disabled sister with him in the truck. Authorities believe she witnessed the shooting.

Hann is charged with homicide. Court records don't list an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
