Woman Dies, Man Hurt After Fall or Jump From Freight Train in Pennsylvania

A woman died and a man was injured after either jumping or falling from a freight train in eastern Pennsylvania, said authorities.

Emergency crews in Northampton County were called to the south side area of Bethlehem at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Coroner Zachary Lysek said 21-year-old Taylor Brown of Easton died after the fall from the train, which was moving through Bethlehem.

Officials haven't released the condition or name of the injured man.

Lysek said it's unclear whether the two were already riding the train or were trying to climb aboard, and it's unclear whether they fell or jumped.
