The two men -- later identified as 74-year-old Charles S. Lauck and his 54-year-old son Charles L. Lauck -- both died from their injuries.

Phyllis Lauck, the wife and mother of the two victims, was taken to the hospital. While officials have not revealed her condition, a family member said she was badly injured. A resident told NBC10 she is widely known in the neighborhood for taking care of stray cats.

Three firefighters who responded to the fire were also hospitalized at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Justin Schlottman of the Robeson Township Police Department told NBC10 the firefighters are doing okay.

Officials continue to investigate the cause of the fire though investigators said it does not appear to be suspicious. They also said there was at least one working smoke detector inside the home.
