Police are searching for a man who they say stole a car while a baby girl was inside.
A woman told police she parked her 2005 Honda Accord in front of the Gulf Gas Station on the 1100 block of Chambers Street in Hamilton Township, New Jersey around 6 p.m. Sunday. She went inside the store while leaving her 1-year-old granddaughter inside the car.

The woman called police and several units and law enforcement agencies began searching the area. The woman told police she had left her cellphone in the vehicle and police were able to track the device with help from the cellphone company.
Police later found the vehicle with the child still inside on the 600 block of Franklin Street in Trenton. EMS personnel evaluated the baby as a precaution but she was not harmed during the ordeal. She was then reunited with her family.
