An autopsy was scheduled to be performed on the body of a man found dead after the car he was riding in crashed in eastern Pennsylvania.
Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Andrew Kehm tells The (Allentown) Morning Call that 32-year-old Alshareef Abner, of Reading, was the front seat passenger when the car hit the tree about 7 p.m. Saturday.
The driver's name has yet to be released, but police earlier told The (Easton) Express-Times that the driver was distracted, possibly by a medical issue suffered by the passenger. At that time, police said they weren't sure whether the dead man was the passenger or the driver.
The coroner's office, Allentown police and the district attorney were continuing to investigate the crash.
The autopsy was scheduled Monday.
