Investigators say someone set fire to a vacant apartment building in Wilmington, causing heavy damage.
The fire was reported at 1 a.m. Saturday in the Woods Edge apartment complex. The empty building was engulfed by flames when firefighters arrived.
The State Fire Marshal's Office says investigators have determined that someone deliberately ignited materials inside the building. A criminal investigation is under way. No suspects have been identified.
The office says damage to the building is estimated at $250,000. No one was injured.
