Police Make Arrest in Caught on Video Rifle-Wielding Shooting

Police on Friday announced the arrest of a gunman shown on surveillance video running out of a Kensington barbershop armed with a rifle and opening fire.

36-year-old Yusuf Warrick was arrested Thursday, charged with murder and related offenses in the August 8th shooting.

One man was killed in the shooting, police said, and two others were injured.

In surveillance video obtained by NBC10, Warrick, wearing a white T-shirt, can be seen running on E Street just north of Allegheny Avenue firing a black rifle.

46-year-old Jose Perez, a 59-year-old man and 33-year-old man were all struck in the shooting.

Perez was struck once in the chest and later died.

The 59-year-old was struck once in the left arm and twice in the left side of the chest. He was taken to Temple where he was listed in critical condition.

The 33-year-old man was struck once in the back. He was treated for his wounds and later released.
