Arrest Made After 5 Year Investigation

After a five-year investigation, police have made an arrest (but have not yet released a name) in the case involving the murder of Sherita Williams.

Wilma Williams, found her daughter's lifeless body beneath a bridge in Pennsauken, N.J. on November 29, 2003.

There weren’t any bullets or knives or clear-cut evidence of trauma found at the scene. The Williams family doesn’t know if their loved one was sexually assaulted because they weren’t allowed to look at Sherita’s classified autopsy.

The last time the Williams family saw Sherita was Black Friday in 2003 when Sherita went to a salon to get her nails and eyebrows done.

That day, Sherita made calls from a pay phone near the bridge, according to police. But, it’s uncertain  on what day Sherita actually died.
