Pa. Convicted of Sexually Assaulting Girls He Employed at Home Arcade

Pa. man convicted of sexual assault of 5 girls

A 35-year-old Pennsylvania man has been convicted of sexually assaulting five teenage girls.

Lancaster District Attorney Craig Stedman said Daniel Leppien employed young teen girls at an arcade he ran out of a home in Marietta he shared with his mother.

A jury on Monday convicted Leppien of having sexual contact with five girls in 2011 who were 15 and 16 years old. The 19 convictions, including rape and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, carry penalties that could keep him behind bars for life.

Prosecutors said Leppien used his arcade business as an opportunity to lure teen girls to his home, get them drunk and rape them.

Leppien didn't take the stand. However, his mother testified that the girls “took advantage” of her son.
