Missing Teen's Body Found in New Jersey Woods

Authorities have identified the body of a woman found in a wooded area in South Jersey as a 19-year-old whose family and friends had been searching for since October.

State police said Danyelle Minerva, of Atco, was found Monday off Woodstown-Alloway Road in Alloway Township.

Sgt. Jeffrey Flynn said that her death is preliminarily being investigated as suspicious, but police would wait to find out her cause of death before making an final decision.

Her family and friends say on a Facebook page set up to find her that she hadn't been seen since Oct. 15. The page shared news of her death Tuesday night. [[365294811, C]]

Police say tree service workers discovered her body while working in the area Monday afternoon.

A funeral will be held for Minerva Monday night at Wooster Funeral Home in Atco, New Jersey, said her family.
