The man accused of killing Philadelphia police officer John Pawlowski heads to court Thursday.
A judge will decide whether there's enough evidence to proceed with the case.
Rasheed Scrugs, 33, is charged with murder in the February 13th shooting of officer Pawlowski.
Pawlowski was responding to a taxi robbery in Logan.
He confronted Scrugs who allegedly opened fire using a gun hidden beneath his jacket.
The officer was killed and Scrugs was wounded when other officers on the scene returned fire.
