Aldi on Hiring Spree, to Open Four New Stores

Aldi, a low-price grocery store, plans to open in four former Bottom Dollar Food locations and hire 350 people as it ramps up its expansion throughout the region.

The stores will open Aug. 20 and be part of a roll out of 24 new stores throughout the Philadelphia area by the end of the year. Of those, 21 will be in former Bottom Dollar spaces and lead to the hiring of 350 employees.

The stores that will open this month will be at:

  • 3101 W. Girard Ave. in Philadelphia;
  • 262C Route 130, Bordentown, N.J.;
  • 812 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, N.J.; and
  • 440 U.S. Highway 130 in East Windsor, N.J.
