A$AP Rocky Sued After Allegedly Slapping Woman During Philly Music Fest

Harlem-born Rapper A$AP Rocky, a.k.a. Rakim Mayers, is being sued after he allegedly slapped a woman during last year's Made in America festival in Philadelphia.

And apparently, this isn't the first time he's raised his hand to a woman after a performance.

Montgomery County residence Lisamarie Wade filed suit against A$AP Rocky last week claiming that he slapped her in the face, knocking her to the ground, as he walked through the crowd at the Made in America festival on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway last September.

Wade says she suffers from migraines, muscle spasms and various other injuries, including a bruised ego, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit also names Live Nation and 15 other members of Rocky's entourage.

Wade is seeking at least $75,000 in damages.

Last year's incident is the second in which Rocky is accused of slapping a woman. That alleged assault was caught on camera.

A YouTube video of the "F&*^%$# Problems" rapper apparently slapping a female fan after she tapped him on the head and blew him a kiss as he made his way through the crowd at his concert in Sydney, Australia went viral in June 2013.

The video has since been removed from YouTube.

Rocky was arrested in July 2012 for his part in the violent beating of a man in New York and again later that year for allegedly beating up two men who took a picture of him, according to Rolling Stone Magazine.
