Woman Whopped by Stranger at Burger King

The woman says she was walking to her car when a stranger attacked her

A woman had just left the Burger King at Route 70 and Astoria Boulevard in Cherry Hill on Thursday night when she was approached by a stranger on the way to her car. He asked who she was and then punched her in the face, according to police, who say it was an unprovoked attack.

And it didn't stop with just one punch. Police say the man, identified as Ismael Quinones, 35, continued hitting the woman and repeatedly slammed her head into the ground. The victim told authorities she saw the man earlier wearing socks and no shoes and had noticed him talking to himself.

After the attack, Quinones took off. Cherry Hill Police chased him down and found him hiding underneath a NJ Turnpike overpass. He had marijuana with him, according to authorities.

Quinones, from the 4000 block of Maple Avenue in Pennsauken, is behind bars at the Camden County Jail. He's facing charges of aggravated assault and possession of marijuana, under 50 grams.

The woman was treated for a broken nose.
