The search is on for the driver who police say hit a woman and then fled the accident scene in the Logan section of the city early Wednesday morning.
Investigators tell NBC10 the victim was walking southbound on Roosevelt Boulevard near 7th Street around 1:15 a.m. when she was struck.
She was rushed to Temple University Hospital with a broken leg.
Anyone with information on the hit and run is urged to call Philadelphia Police.
