The body of Tanesha Carr, 33, of the 5300 block of Oxford Street in Philadelphia, was found inside a burning car in Feltonville early Sunday, according to police.
Police found the vehicle on fire on the 4500 block of North 3rd Street just after 2 a.m. Investigators say it was a 2002 Chrysler Sebring. After fire crews responded and extinguished the fire, they discovered Carr's body in the passenger seat. Police also say two bullet holes were found in the passenger door.
The investigation is ongoing and there's no word yet on any suspects.
