Woman Found Dead on I-95 Victim of Apparent Murder-Suicide, Police Say

A 32-year-old woman found dead near an on-ramp of northbound Interstate 95 in Bucks County Saturday evening was the apparent victim of a murder-suicide, Pennsylvania State Police said Sunday.

The body of Maria Choo Lin Choo was found Saturday shortly after 5:30 p.m. by police responding to a call of a woman running against traffic in the northbound lanes of I-95 and Woodhaven Road in Bensalem.

When officials arrived to the scene, she was already dead. Police discovered multiple gunshot wounds on her body, officials said.

Laying on top of her, also dead, was 60-year-old David Choo Lin Choo. He held a semi-automatic handgun in his right hand, according to investigators.

An autopsy revealed the woman died from multiple gunshot wounds while the man died from a single, self-inflicted gunshot. Both people were from Philadelphia.

Police have not commented on the pair’s relationship or what happened in the moments leading to their deaths.

An investigation is ongoing.
