Delaware State Police have identified a woman who was found dead in her home on Saturday.
Heather L. Stamper, 31 of Delaware City, was found in her home on the 200 block of Adams Street on Saturday after police responded to a call made by one of Stamper's friends who found her unconscious inside a bedroom. New Castle County Emergency Medical Services responded and pronounced her dead at the scene.
An autopsy by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science ruled Stamper's death a homicide by blunt force trauma. Both Homicide Detectives and Police are investigating the incident. They have not yet released information on any suspects.
