A baby boy and his mother are in the hospital after the two were attacked by a dog.
It happened on the 1600 block of Old Baltimore Pike in Newark, Delaware. Police say a Grey and white male pit bull attacked his owner’s girlfriend as well as her 10-month-old son.
“He bit my son, she tried to hit him off of our son and he bit her,” said Sean Krop, the dog’s owner. “She couldn’t get him off of her so she started screaming for me and then I came in there and then I got him off of her and then we called the ambulance.”
The woman suffered broken bones in the attack. Both the woman and the boy were taken to the hospital where their conditions are unknown. The dog is currently in the custody of Delaware Animal Care and Control after being turned in by his owner.
